Winter Refuge at Corrunich Croft

When the wintery Highlands call, Ness Walk offers a refuge steeped in history, resilience, and unspoiled beauty. And, less than an hour from this luxury retreat is a rugged location; the ideal day trip. Nestled in a remote glen of Scotland’s rugged landscape, the 300-year-old Corrunich croft embodies the spirit of the Highlands. A place where stories linger in the granite walls, and each experience tugs at your soul.

Corrunich is a true sanctuary. Warm hospitality from your hosts, and rich tapestry of activities make it the perfect complement to a luxurious stay at Ness Walk.

The Heart of Corrunich

Ghillie Basan, an award-winning writer, broadcaster, and culinary expert, has owned Corrunich for over 30 years. A single mother who raised her children Yaz and Zek in this remote paradise, Ghillie has turned the croft into a hub of creativity, community, and adventure. In the summer, her Whisky Food Safari has been a triumph and featured across multiple publications. And in the winter, with the crackle of a fire, you couldn’t find a warmer spot for a refuge.

You may never want to leave!
