This is an international airport, connecting the Scottish Highlands with the rest of the world. It offers services by Easyjet, KLM and British Airways, and welcomes up to 1 million passengers a year. It also accepts private charter flights. Ness Walk Hotel is only a 20-minute drive from the airport.

One of the best ways to travel to Inverness from other towns and cities on mainland Britain is by train. You can get here from London in around 8.5 hours or overnight on the sleeper train, from Newcastle in 5.5 hours, or from Edinburgh in 3.5 hours. From the station, it is a 10-minute bus journey to Ness Walk Hotel (Maxwell Drive stop) or 7 minutes by car or taxi.

For those travelling within Scotland, it may be easier to take a bus or coach. The bus station is just a short walk from the train station. From here, it is a 10-minute bus journey to Ness Walk Hotel (Maxwell Drive stop) or 7 minutes by car or taxi.
